ABOUT SIMPLY PEARLY ORGANIZING SERVICES

Meet Nina Alferio, Your Nashville Professional Organizer

NOT A THERAPIST, BUT A DARN GOOD LISTENER

Hi, I’m Nina, founder of Simply Pearly Organizing Services. I help people create homes that support them, not hinder them, whether that means organizing a busy family home, getting settled after a move, or finding a safe way forward through extreme clutter. If your home feels overwhelming right now, I want you to know one thing first: there’s no judgment here.

I Know How Much Your Home Affects How You  Feel

My business started from my own experiences with grief and depression. I know firsthand how hard it is to keep up a home when you’re struggling just to get out of bed, and how difficult it is to function in a space that feels as out of control as you feel inside.

Getting control of my own living environment helped me move forward in peace. It taught me that taking steps toward a healthy home has a profound effect on how we feel and function. That’s why organizing, to me, is much more than a perfect-looking home. It’s about reclaiming your space, regaining control, and moving forward.

And it’s why I believe that no matter what caused the clutter, everyone deserves a safe and functional space from which they can thrive.

What Working With Me Feels Like

You’re Heard

Mental health is a driving force behind the work I do. I meet you where you are emotionally, and I listen before anything else.

You’re In Control

Your belongings and your decisions are always yours. I’ll guide you, ask thoughtful questions, and offer options, but I’ll never force you to let anything go.

You’re In Good Hands

I lead with a servant’s heart, and I personally oversee every aspect of your project, so you can feel confident your home and belongings are cared for. Your satisfaction and unique needs always come first.

My Organizing Philosophy

  • Client centered, not stuff centered. You and your well-being always come before your belongings.
  • Function trumps aesthetic. A space should function well, not just photograph well, though I want it to look nice, too.
  • Declutter first, shop last. I’m not a product pusher. I use what you already have before recommending anything new.
  • Sustainable and thoughtful. Whatever you let go of is donated, recycled, or responsibly disposed of, so nothing goes to waste.
  • Safety first, next function, progress always. Progress matters more than perfection.

Moving Has Always Been Part of My Story

Growing up, my family lived in several different states for my father’s career. As an adult, I’ve made major moves of my own, across the country and across the Pacific to and from Hawaii. So when I help clients through a move, I understand how much goes into it, and how much it means to finally feel at home.

When I’m not organizing, you’ll find me in a hot yoga class, spending time with my family, or at home with my cat, Lucy Pickles.

What Our Clients Say

“Nina will help shovel out bedrooms, closets, and garages. She did four sessions in the master bedroom and closet, helping make the space safe and navigable. Two days in the garage with boxes stacked and strewn everywhere resulted in a largely cleared floor, access to the stairs and water heater, and a significant reduction in unused items, moldy linens, and loads of unimportant papers. Well worth her weight in gold.”

– Rebecca P.

“Having Nina’s help was such a blessing! I had just downsized to a new place, and finding a space for everything was proving to be a huge challenge. Nina came in and quickly and effortlessly made my new space feel like home. It’s been weeks since she was here, and I’ve been able to maintain the organizational systems she helped me set up. I highly recommend working with her, it has really made life better.”

– Elaine T.

“Highly recommend Nina’s service. She is extremely efficient, detailed, and friendly. The systems she created are even easy for my child to maintain. I feel a sense of relief each time I walk into her room and see her toys and games neatly put away. The peace of mind that came with Nina’s services was absolutely worth it.”
